Ben Morieson

Production Designer

Ben Morieson has been working in film and television for over 25 years. After graduating in Sculpture and experiencing 2 years of travel around the world, Morieson started his career in prop making and scenic art. His first job as Art Director on a feature was The Castle in 1996. He enjoys the collaborative process in creating these character’s worlds, working very closely with the Director and DOP to make the brief and then bring it to life.

Projects include the telemovies Hawke (Nominated for an APDG award for best production design), Saved, INXS and Molly (Nominated for an AACTA for best Production Design for a series), and recent feature films Galore, The Death and Life of Otto Bloom (nominated for a 2017 AACTA award for Best production design in a feature).
